Systems Engineering Manager

You will lead and coordinate systems engineering and integration across technical systems and subsystems. You will establish engineering policies, lead design reviews, manage CAD and configuration processes, address technical risks and cross-disciplinary issues, mentor personnel, and represent systems engineering at technical forums.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and enforce engineering policies, procedures, and standards
- Coordinate systems engineering and integration across the project
- Lead design reviews and evaluate design process performance
- Lead the Design Services Group
- Establish CAD standards and configuration management processes
- Maintain interface responsibility documentation
- Ensure compliance with ES&H and quality assurance requirements
- Identify technical risks and develop mitigation plans
- Provide technical leadership to resolve cross-disciplinary engineering issues
- Mentor engineering, drafting, and CAD personnel
- Represent systems engineering at reviews, conferences, workshops, and forums
- Prepare presentations and responses for technical reviews and oversight bodies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering-related field
- At least 12 years of engineering experience
- Experience managing engineering or physics teams
- Experience with design integration for complex first-of-a-kind equipment
- Experience coordinating technical work with sponsors, vendors, partners, and project team members
- Availability for domestic and international travel
