Systems Project manager

Legendary Home Services
Twin Cities, MN (Onsite)
Full Time | Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

About Legendary Home Services

Legendary Home Services proudly supports several trusted home service brands across Minnesota including Blue Ox Heating & Air, Paul Bunyan Plumbing & Drains, and EarlyBird Electric. For over 20 years we have provided electrical, plumbing, heating, and air services to homeowners across the Twin Cities and Rochester areas.

We are continuing to grow and are looking for an Systems Project Manager Specialist to help support the technology and systems that keep our teams running smoothly every day.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys technology troubleshooting, systems support, and helping others solve problems while gaining hands on experience with industry leading software such as ServiceTitan.

Position Overview

This is a split-focus support role — roughly 50% IT support and 50% ServiceTitan CRM support — designed for a hands-on technologist who thrives in a fast-paced operations environment.

On the IT side, you will be the first line of response for employee technology issues across the organization, with a particular focus on mobile and handheld devices used by our field technicians — iPhones, Androids, and iPads. On the CRM side, you will handle Tier 1 support tickets for ServiceTitan, our field service management platform, helping employees troubleshoot, navigate, and get the most out of the system each day.

This is not a background or administrative role. You will be resolving real tickets, supporting real technicians in the field, and making a direct impact on daily operations.

Schedule

Monday to Friday
8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Schedule may vary occasionally based on business needs.)

Pay

$22 to $25 per hour depending on experience

Who This Role Is Perfect For

This position is ideal for someone who:

  • Recently completed schooling in IT or technology and wants hands on experience
  • Enjoys troubleshooting technology and helping coworkers solve problems
  • Wants to grow into a systems or ServiceTitan administrator role
  • Is comfortable working in an operations environment while supporting internal technology
  • Enjoys learning new systems and improving processes

Key Responsibilities:

Day-to-Day IT & Systems Management

  • ServiceTitan Administration: Serve as the primary administrator for ServiceTitan across all brands, including user management, configuration, reporting, and troubleshooting.
  • Device & Endpoint Management: Oversee procurement, setup, deployment, and lifecycle management of all company devices including laptops, tablets, and mobile devices used by field technicians and office staff.
  • IT Support: Act as the first point of escalation for internal technology issues, resolving what you can directly and escalating to our managed service provider (Dyopath) as second-tier support, coordinating resolution and maintaining uptime across critical business systems.
  • Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, ensuring SLAs are met and contracts align with business needs.
  • System Monitoring: Maintain awareness of system health, user access controls, and data integrity across platforms including Microsoft 365, Service Titan, Verizon, and related tools.

ServiceTitan & Process Optimization

  • Strategic Configuration: Analyze how ServiceTitan is being used across departments and identify opportunities to improve workflows, automation, and reporting.
  • Process Design & Implementation: Lead the design and rollout of new ServiceTitan processes and operational workflows, ensuring cross-functional alignment before and during implementation.
  • Data & Reporting: Build and maintain ServiceTitan dashboards and reports that give leadership and operations teams clear visibility into performance metrics.
  • Change Management: Communicate process changes effectively to impacted teams, managing expectations and adoption through structured rollouts.

Training & Documentation

  • New Hire Onboarding: Own IT and systems onboarding for new employees, including device setup, system access provisioning, and initial technology training.
  • Process Training: Develop and deliver training for both existing and newly introduced processes across ServiceTitan and operational systems.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain clear, up-to-date SOPs, user guides, and process documentation accessible to all team members.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay current on ServiceTitan product updates and relevant IT best practices, incorporating improvements proactively.

Larger-Scale Project Management

  • Cross-Functional Projects: Serve as project manager or key contributor on strategic initiatives that span multiple departments, such as facility transitions, systems migrations, or operational restructuring.
  • Building & Facilities Projects: Support planning and coordination for facility-related projects, including technology infrastructure, build-outs, and move logistics.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Bring together multiple points of view from leadership, field operations, and support staff to align on objectives and drive projects to completion.
  • Timeline & Resource Management: Track project milestones, surface risks early, and keep stakeholders informed with clear, concise updates throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications

    Required

    • 2+ years of experience in an IT, systems administration, or operations technology role—or in a role where you interacted heavily with IT systems, even if IT was not your primary function
    • Demonstrated experience with ServiceTitan or a comparable field service management platform
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams
    • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools including Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, and Excel
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
    • Exceptional attention to detail—you catch what others miss and follow through completely

    Preferred

    • Experience in home services, field service, or a multi-location service business
    • Familiarity with device management platforms (e.g., Jamf, Intune, or similar MDM tools)
    • Comfortable with public speaking and confident facilitating training sessions, presentations, and group discussions for employees at all levels of the organization.
    • Experience developing and delivering engaging training programs, both in-person and virtually.
    • Experience developing training materials or facilitating team training sessions
    • Exposure to process improvement frameworks (Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent)
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar credential

Please Note: This is an on site position supporting internal employees and business systems. This role begins with CSR training to learn company operations and systems before transitioning into technology and systems support responsibilities.

    • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
    • 401k with company participation
    • Paid training and development
    • Career growth opportunities within a growing company
