Life Cycle Engineering is seeking a Systems Sustainment Engineer. In this role, you will utilize your existing technical expertise to work independently and efficiently, executing your responsibilities to meet customer objectives.
This position will be on-site based out of Tucson, Arizona.
What You Will Do:
- Performing engineering analysis supporting system design with respect to Reliability, Maintainability, System Safety, Human Systems Interface, Logistics support and other sustainment disciplines
- Reviewing technical documentation for accuracy and compliance with existing standards
- Researching content and gleaning information from technical, soft skill and/or business documentation as well as engineering personnel or other technical subject matter experts
- Identifying concerns, suggesting solutions, and following through to closure
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.
- Experience or coursework in System Design.
- Experience with depot functions and /or logistics.
- Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
- Active and transferrable final U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain program access after start. US citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Strong analytical skills
- Customer focus and collaboration skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; knowledge of MS Office or other presentation tools
- Experience in the preparation and presentation of briefing material
- Internship or co-op experience with a defense contractor and/or government agency
- Ability to influence product design to optimize product supportability
- Familiarity with associated Military and Commercial supportability Standards and Practices
- Ability to review technical documentation for accuracy and compliance with existing standards
- Ability to identify concerns, suggest solutions, and follow through to closure
- Experience with database applications
- Prior military service operating and/or maintaining various defense systems
- Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
