Systems Testing/QA Specialist – Senior

• Develop and implement comprehensive QA and testing strategies for enterprise-level IT projects.
  
• Develop detailed Test Strategies, Test Plans, Test Cases, test scenarios, and test scripts aligned with business and technical requirements.
  
• Execute testing across GUI and non-GUI environments.
  
• Perform all phases of system testing, including:
  
• Functional testing
  
• Integration testing
  
• Regression testing
  
• System testing
  
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  
• Perform testing within Agile/Scrum and sprint-based development environments.
  
• Work closely with business analysts, developers, project managers, UAT leads, and other stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
  
• Test workflow-driven applications, particularly solutions developed using IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) and/or IBM BPM.
  
• Develop and execute automated test cases using Selenium or equivalent automation frameworks.
  
• Integrate and execute automated testing as part of CI/CD pipelines.
  
• Conduct API testing using REST and SOAP services.
  
• Validate API request/response formats, authentication mechanisms, error handling, and data responses.
  
• Perform backend database testing, including validation of PL/SQL jobs, data integrity, and performance.
  
• Write and execute SQL/PL/SQL queries for test verification, validation, and analysis.
  
• Perform testing for migration-based projects, including:
  
• Data mapping validation
  
• Data transformation validation
  
• Pre-migration data integrity checks
  
• Post-migration data integrity checks
  
• Business rule continuity validation
  
• Functional equivalence validation
  
• Identify, isolate, replicate, document, and trace defects.
  
• Conduct root cause analysis and work with development teams toward defect resolution.
  
• Manage the complete defect lifecycle, including defect logging, triaging, tracking, retesting, and closure.
  
• Coordinate defect reviews and resolution activities with UAT leads and project stakeholders.
  
• Develop and maintain UAT artifacts, including test cases, execution results, defects, findings, and reports.
  
• Perform AODA and WCAG compliance testing for web applications and documents.
  
• Conduct security and access-control testing, including validation of:
  
• User permissions
  
• Authentication mechanisms
  
• Authorization
  
• Access controls
  
• Data protection
  
• Test OpenText Content Management Systems, including:
  
• Metadata accuracy

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Systems Testing/QA Specialist on enterprise-level IT projects.
  
• Strong experience with QA methodologies, SDLC processes, and Agile testing practices.
  
• Demonstrated experience developing Test Strategies, Test Plans, and detailed Test Cases.
  
• Strong hands-on experience executing comprehensive system testing.
  

• Hands-on experience working within Agile Scrum methodologies and sprint-based development cycles.
  
• Experience using Azure DevOps or similar tools for:

• Test reporting
  

• Strong experience developing and executing automated test cases.
