What tasks await you?
We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Cloud Engineer to support the reliable operation, automation and continuous improvement of SaaS/PaaS platforms in a dynamic cloud environment. You will join a small, self-managed team working across public cloud platforms.
- Set up and operate customer sandbox and cloud environments.
- Define and perform operational tasks based on service-operation best practices.
- Automate infrastructure, deployment and configuration processes.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and reusable deployment templates.
- Administer Linux-based systems and cloud environments.
- Support containerized and distributed applications.
- Improve monitoring, observability, reliability and troubleshooting processes.
- Integrate customer-specific identity, networking, API and DNS requirements.
- Adapt automations to changes in cloud and CI/CD platforms.
- Collaborate directly with customers, team members and stakeholders.
What skills will be appreciated?
- Practical experience with one or more of the following public cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, AWS or T-Cloud Public.
- Strong understanding of cloud operations and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with Terraform, Bicep or comparable Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or managed Kubernetes services.
- Experience with CI/CD, version control, scripting and automation.
- Solid Linux system administration skills.
- Experience with operational support, troubleshooting and error analysis.
- Understanding of testing, monitoring and reliable service operations.
- A structured and solution-oriented approach to work.
- Strong communication skills.
- Good command of English (B2+) and German (B2+).
Nice to have
- Experience with GitLab or GitHub pipelines and templates.
- Experience with identity and access management solutions such as Keycloak, ADFS, Active Directory or Microsoft Entra ID.
- Experience with cloud networking components, application gateways, APIs and customer-specific DNS.
- Knowledge of cloud monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Grafana or Prometheus.
- Experience with Web Application Firewalls.
- Knowledge of database system administration.
