Work you’ll do:

• Conduct market and customer research
  • Research market trends, customer needs, competitor offerings, regulations, and emerging technologies; synthesise findings into actionable implications.

• Develop strategic analyses
  • Support market sizing, opportunity assessment, segment analysis, benchmarking, product or proposition design, and strategic option development.
    

• Perform current-state assessments
  • Analyse business processes, customer journeys, systems, data, controls, pain points, dependencies, and operational performance.

• Support operating-model design
  • Help define target operating models, roles, governance, processes, service models, KPIs, controls, and capability requirements.

• Build financial and business cases
  • Develop revenue, cost, investment, benefits, profitability, sensitivity, and scenario models to support investment decisions.
• Prepare executive-level deliverables
  • Create concise, evidence-based PowerPoint presentations, executive summaries, option papers, workshop materials, reports, and decision documents.

• Facilitate stakeholder engagement
  • Prepare and support interviews, workshops, working sessions, and steering-committee meetings; capture decisions and translate input into actions.

Requirements:

• Minimum Qualification(s):
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, engineering, technology, or related field;
  • 1-2 years of full-time work experience, ideally in financial services, consulting, banking, fintech, payments, cards, or digital transformation
  • Have worked in one of the following: top tier consulting firm, leading banks, fintechs and/ or other financial services firms
  • Experience with one or more of cards, issuing/acquiring, merchant payments, payment gateways, QR payments, instant payments or cross-border payments will be a plus
  • Strong ability to structure ambiguous problems, analyse qualitative and quantitative data, identify root causes, and develop practical recommendations.
  • Proficient in Excel, including structured financial models, scenario analysis, data analysis, charts, pivot tables, and quality checks.
  • Excellent written and verbal English; able to explain complex findings clearly to business, technology, operations, and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, ownership, curiosity, teamwork, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
