Work you will do

This role sits within the Technology, Strategy & Transformation team of Deloitte Southeast Asia, focused on design and implementation of banking platforms.

In this role you shall be responsible for the following:

• Work very closely with business users, Functional Business Analyst and project team members on solutioning during project initiation, implementation and post-implementation support.
• Participate in requirements gathering with business users and Business Analyst. Suggest alternate solutions to meet or improve the desired objectives based on best practices and industry solutions and influence the desired outcomes.
• Work on / review solution design & effort estimates and prioritize projects & change requests
• Develop/Review functional specification based on Business Requirement document and map out into RTM (Requirement Traceability Matrix).
• Develop/Review Technical design specification to ensure the design meets the Functional requirement.
• Review SIT Test Plan, Test Design and Test Cases.
• Track and monitor all application documentations are maintained and completed according to the UOB delivery methodology.
• Verify vendor code releases to track that they are delivered as per functional and technical requirements.
• Review SIT Test Plan, Test Design and Test Cases.
• Support testing during SIT, UAT and post-implementation phases.
• Post production cut-over monitoring and provide support on issues and incidents raised. Ensure timely response and address of all production incidents
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve application related issues. Work with architect, development team on the technical solutions to address production issues and maintain system stability.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in a technology or business discipline with a well ranked institution.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in technology and transformation at consulting firms or for a leading bank
• Experience in full-cycle implementations of enterprise systems for medium or large sized banks
• Delivery experience with clients in SEA is preferable
• Extensive experience in implementing enterprise‑scale banking platforms, integrating core modules for Client onboarding, Investment Products, Portfolio Management, Advisory tools, and Compliance.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Understanding of broader core banking technology landscape
• Understanding of the new age solution provider landscape and their capabilities across banking.
• Experience with budgetary responsibilities related to projects or resources.
• Experience in collaborating with cross functional teams to shape up and deliver new opportunities.
• Ability to build consensus and foster change in ambiguous settings.
• Commitment to professional excellence, as well as personal and professional growth.
• Drive, tenacity, client focused and results oriented.
• An appreciation of the consulting lifestyle and ability to travel (both locally and abroad) is a prerequisite to fit to our short-term and long-term project assignment.
• Nice to have - Industry-recognized certifications in enterprise or domain-specific platforms, indicating advanced configuration or customization capabilities
