Table Games Dealer/Supervisor Dual Rate - Full Time (Caesars New Orleans)

The Table Games Dual-Rate Supervisor supervises table games operations on an assigned shift, ensuring exceptional guest service, safeguarding Caesars' assets, and promoting a positive work environment through employee motivation, coaching, and development.
- Responsible for the operation of two to eight table games during an assigned shift.
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of all table games, house rules, counting methods, and operating procedures applicable to each game.
- Ensures that all coin and chip racks are maintained at appropriate levels at all times.
- Resolves guest disputes within the Table Games area and escalates complex issues to the Casino Manager, Table Games, or the Director of Table Games as needed.
- Promotes guest development by: (1) interacting with guests, (2) modeling effective guest and team member engagement skills, and (3) making appropriate comp decisions.
- Remains alert to any unusual or suspicious activities involving Table Games team members or guests and promptly reports such situations to the appropriate supervisor.
- Identifies and addresses issues or disputes between Table Games team members and guests, providing assistance and resolution when necessary.
- Able to deal table games a minimum of one to two days per week.
- Recommends departmental personnel actions, including hiring, promotion, demotion, and termination, and recommends wage and salary adjustments within established guidelines.
- Counsels, guides, coaches, and instructs assigned team members in the proper performance of their duties.
- Prepares and coordinates periodic performance reviews for assigned personnel.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- Knowledge of casino rules, regulations, and procedures related to pit operations preferred.
- Must possess excellent customer service, leadership, and communication skills. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Must be willing and able to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to work effectively with co-workers and function as part of a team.
- Must maintain a professional, well-groomed appearance.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to work indoors and continuously maneuver throughout the Pit area during the entire shift, with regularly scheduled breaks.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical activities such as bending, reaching, kneeling, twisting, and gripping.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to remain calm and respond effectively to multiple guest demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to respond to visual and auditory cues and memorize game rules and procedures.
- Must be able to perform mathematical calculations quickly and accurately when determining winners and losers and when collecting and paying out wagers.
