Talent Acquisition Advisor - Team Lead

What are your contributions to the team?

  • Execute full-cycle recruitment for technical and high-volume positions.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership to a team of Talent Acquisition Advisors supporting recruitment for unionized positions, fostering collaboration, engagement, and operational excellence.
  • Serve as a key resource for complex recruitment matters, supporting the team in resolving unique situations and making sound, informed decisions.
  • Develop and implement recruitment plans and strategies aligned with business objectives and short- and long-term workforce requirements.
  • Design strategic presentations to support executive decision-making, business reviews, and talent-related initiatives, translating complex data into clear, concise, and impactful messages for executive audiences.
  • Plan, coordinate, and rebalance recruitment activities to effectively respond to changing hiring volumes and business priorities while maintaining a high level of service.
  • Demonstrate agility in managing resources and priorities by rapidly adapting strategies and action plans to fluctuating recruitment demands.
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and compliance across recruitment processes while promoting continuous improvement and the sharing of best practices within the team.
  • Analyze recruitment metrics, hiring trends, and operational challenges to develop recommendations that enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the Talent Acquisition function.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of strategic initiatives aimed at improving recruitment processes, elevating the candidate experience, and strengthening overall Talent Acquisition performance.

How to thrive in this role?

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • You have between 8 to 10 years of experience in Talent Acquisition.
  • You are bilingual in French and English (spoken and written).
  • Experience in team management.
  • You possess experience in the aerospace industry, manufacturing environment, and/or unionized settings; this is considered a strong asset.
  • You possess demonstrated experience developing strategic presentations and confidently presenting results, business challenges, and recommendations to executive-level leaders.
  • You possess proven ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced, dynamic, and constantly evolving environment.
  • You possess strong ability to influence stakeholders and build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • You possess a customer-focused mindset with a strong orientation toward innovation and continuous improvement.
  • You possess solid understanding of labor market trends, talent acquisition strategies, and recruitment best practices.
  • You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results with minimal supervision.
