The Talent Acquisition Coordinator manages and drives the full-cycle recruitment process to attract, hire, and retain top talent for the organization. This role partners closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, develop effective recruitment strategies, and guide the hiring process from requisition through onboarding.
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator plays a key role in shaping a positive candidate experience,
strengthening the organization’s employer brand, and building strong talent pipelines to support current and future staffing needs. This position ensures recruitment processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with organizational goals.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Sourcing
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from job posting through offer acceptance.
- Partner with hiring managers to clarify job requirements, establish interview questions, hiring priorities, and candidate profiles.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract qualified and diverse candidate pools.
- Maintain and update job descriptions.
- Actively source candidates through job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, and employee referrals.
- Screen applications, conduct initial candidate interviews, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers.
- Enhance the Paycom recruiting process and module.
- Guide hiring managers through the recruitment process and provide recommendations to support effective hiring decisions.
Candidate Experience & Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, ensuring clear communication with both candidates and interview teams.
- Maintain timely communication with candidates regarding application status and next steps.
- Ensure a positive, professional, and engaging experience for all candidates.
Onboarding & Orientation
- Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, ensuring completion of all required documentation and system entries.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve an efficient and engaging orientation process for new staff members.
- Facilitate or support new employee orientation sessions.
- Ensure new hires receive the resources, tools, and information needed to successfully transition into their roles.
Employer Branding & Talent Strategy
- Support initiatives that promote the organization’s employer brand and attract high-quality candidates.
- Contribute to talent pipeline development for key roles and future workforce needs.
- Track recruitment metrics and assist in identifying opportunities to improve hiring processes and outcomes.
Compliance & Administration
- Maintain the applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure recruitment documentation is accurate and current.
- Ensure recruitment practices comply with employment laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all recruitment activities.
Other duties as assigned by Human Resources Manager or Chief Organizational Officer.
