Job Summary:
The Talent Acquisition & HR Operations Specialist serves as a key member of the Human Resources team, balancing strategic talent acquisition responsibilities with HR operational support to ensure efficient and positive experience for candidates, employees, managers, and business leaders.
This position is primarily responsible for leading full-cycle recruitment efforts. The role partners closely with hiring managers to develop effective recruitment strategies, build talent pipelines, and attract top talent across a variety of functions and levels within the organization.
In addition to talent acquisition responsibilities, the position provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources function, ensuring the efficient execution of onboarding, HR systems administration, compliance activities, reporting, and other HR processes. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, proactive professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys contributing across multiple areas of Human Resources.
Job Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment activities for exempt, non-exempt, professional, technical, manufacturing, operations, engineering, and leadership positions across a multi-site organization.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, organizational objectives, and workforce planning requirements.
  • Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies utilizing job boards, networking, referrals, social media, professional organizations, recruitment events, and other sourcing channels.
  • Screen, interview, assess, and recommend candidates to ensure alignment with position requirements and organizational culture.
  • Coordinate and facilitate all aspects of the interview process, including scheduling, candidate communications, interview team coordination, and feedback collection.
  • Extend employment offers and assist with offer negotiations in partnership with HR leadership and hiring managers.
  • Develop and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill positions.
  • Support recruitment initiatives for international positions as business needs require.
  • Coordinate participation in career fairs, networking events, college recruitment programs, and other talent attraction initiatives.
  • Maintain and optimize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and recruitment processes to improve efficiency and candidate experience.
  • Track, analyze, and report key recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, candidate pipeline activity, and hiring outcomes.
  • Support employer branding and talent attraction activities that enhance the organization's reputation as an employer of choice.
  • Ensure recruiting activities comply with applicable employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
HR Operations & Administrative Support
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources team.
  • Manage HR-related correspondence, including incoming mail, unemployment claims, employment verification requests, and employee documentation.
  • Maintain employee records and personnel files in accordance with company policies, records retention requirements, and legal guidelines.
  • Support HRIS administration, data entry, employee status changes, organizational updates, and reporting activities.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities, including background checks, new hire paperwork, orientation scheduling, communication, and related logistics.
  • Support employee lifecycle administration, including new hire processing, employee changes, promotions, transfers, and separations.
  • Prepare HR reports, dashboards, metrics, and workforce data for HR leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Assist with compliance initiatives, audits, document management, and required employment-related recordkeeping.
  • Coordinate training sessions, meetings, interviews, employee events, and other HR-related activities.
  • Support employee recognition, service award, wellness, and engagement programs through administrative coordination and communication.
  • Maintain HR forms, templates, standard operating procedures, and departmental documentation.
  • Assist with vendor coordination, invoice processing, purchase requisitions, and other departmental administrative responsibilities.
  • Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives designed to enhance operational effectiveness and employee experience.
  • Provide backup support for other HR administrative and operational responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of talent acquisition, recruiting, human resources, or related experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle recruitment across multiple job functions and organizational levels.
  • Experience supporting fast-paced, multi-site business environments.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, Microsoft Office applications, and recruiting technologies.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience recruiting for manufacturing, operations, engineering, technical, professional, and corporate positions.
  • Experience supporting both talent acquisition and HR operations functions.
  • Exposure to international recruiting activities.
  • Experience administering recruiting systems, reporting, and analytics.
  • Experience supporting a geographically dispersed workforce.
