About the Internship:

Duration: 12 weeks (April - July 2026).
Format: 100% remote participation with 2 offline meetings.

The Talent Acquisition Internship is a structured, mentor-guided programme designed to provide practical, hands-on experience in modern recruitment and talent sourcing. During the programme, interns will learn how recruitment works in international companies and develop the core skills required for entry-level Talent Acquisition and Sourcing roles.

Each intern is assigned a dedicated mentor who provides guidance, feedback, and structured skill development throughout the programme.

The programme includes:

  • Weekly lectures and practical assignments

  • Real-world sourcing and recruitment tasks

  • Structured mentor feedback and progress reviews

  • Hands-on work with sourcing tools and Applicant Tracking Systems

  • Final project simulating the work of a Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist

What You Will Learn and Do

During the programme, you will develop practical skills in:

Talent sourcing and market research

  • Learn how to search for candidates using LinkedIn and other platforms

  • Use Boolean search and sourcing techniques

  • Conduct labour market and salary research

  • Identify and analyse candidate profiles

Working with recruitment tools and systems

  • Learn how Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) work

  • Add and manage candidate profiles

  • Track recruitment metrics and sourcing performance

Candidate communication

  • Write professional outreach messages

  • Communicate with candidates in a clear and professional manner

  • Provide structured feedback and rejection messages

Candidate evaluation

  • Analyze CVs and LinkedIn profiles

  • Identify relevant experience and skills

  • Conduct structured screening interviews (under supervision)

  • Prepare candidate summaries and hiring recommendations

Understanding recruitment as a business process

  • Learn how hiring needs arise

  • Understand the role of recruiters and hiring managers

  • Participate in recruitment simulations and real-life scenarios

Who We Are Looking For

This programme is designed for students and recent graduates who are interested in starting a career in Talent Acquisition, HR, or international recruitment.

Preferred educational background: Psychology, Human Resources, Management, Sociology, Cultural Studies, Linguistics, Japanese Philology or other language-related fields, Foreign Languages, International Relations or related social sciences disciplines

Requirements:

  • Upper-intermediate or higher English level

  • Strong communication and analytical skills

  • Interest in recruitment, HR, or working with people

  • Ability to work independently and follow structured tasks

  • Attention to detail and willingness to learn

  • Availability to participate throughout the full 12-week programme

Nice to have:

  • Interest in international business environments

  • Interest in Japanese language or international markets

  • Basic understanding of LinkedIn or professional communication

No prior recruitment experience is required.
