Job Title: Talent Acquisition Intern (5 Days in office)
Job Summary: We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Intern to join our Human Resources team at Ground Up International. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start their career in Human Resources. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with finding top talent. Responsibilities will include supporting full cycle recruitment, onboarding new hires, and assisting with administrative HR tasks.
This is a paid, full-time internship (5 days onsite) at our office near 34th street Herald Square. The internship will run for 6 months, with the potential to extend or convert to a full- time role based of performance and business needs. Start Date: beginning middle of September 2026

Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Conduct intake meetings with Hiring Managers to understand the role, responsibilities, qualifications, team structure, and hiring needs
- Draft and maintain job descriptions/posting
- Facilitate Candidate screenings and coordinate hiring manager interviews
- Maintain and update candidate records in the ATS/BambooHR
- Partner with the HRBP to track candidate pipelines and provide recruiting updates/reports
- Assist with offer preparation and onboarding handoff
- Conduct sourcing research and build candidate pipelines
- Support employer branding/recruiting initiatives
- Conduct intake meetings with Hiring Managers to understand the role, responsibilities, qualifications, team structure, and hiring needs
- Onboarding & Training
- Assist with new hire onboarding coordination and ensuring required documents are completed
- Coordinate with the Hiring Manager to create onboarding planners
- Help maintain onboarding trackers/checklists
- Coordinate and manage the background check process for new hires, including initiating checks, monitoring completion, and following up on outstanding items
- Support employee training logistics, including scheduling, communications, materials, and feedback collection
- Assist with 30/60/90-day onboarding check-ins or tracking
- Assist HRBP with New Hire Orientations
- General HR Support
- Provide administrative support to the HR team
- Assist with special projects and process improvements
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
- Strong interest in starting a career in Human Resources and or Talent Acquisition
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
