Talent Acquisition Manager - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract/Assignment

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager, based in our ISB Slough UK office, to lead our cross-country team of TA Coordinators and TA Partners in Northern Europe (UK, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Finland & Norway). What will your key responsibilities be?

• Lead and Inspire: Provide Great Line Management to a team of TA Coordinators and TA Partners with a high-performance culture. Supporting development and training for TA Coordinator, TA Partner & Senior TA Partner roles. Partnering with the Head of TA to utilise all Mars signature processes to support a strong org now, and for the future. Stepping up to support the Head of TA, where appropriate.
• Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with P&O Business Partnership, Business Leaders, HM communities, and TA Centre’s of Excellence (RPO, Sourcing, ER etc.) amongst others, to operationally manage and lead the team. Collaborate with the Head of TA and strategic partners to build, evaluate and implement the TA Strategy & Engagement plan for the Northern Europe TA team.
• Best Practice Recruitment Processes: Ensure smooth, efficient and inclusive recruitment as well as excellent stakeholder, hiring manager and candidate experience for the cluster and wider team.
• Drive Effectiveness: Supporting the team to meet their operational KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead local, regional and occasionally global, strategic project work focused on improving our processes, policies and the overall TA experience.

What are we looking for?

• Experience in leading a team directly or as part of a project or initiative
• Experience and understanding of operational Talent Acquisition
• Large matrix business experience
• Proven excellent stakeholder relationship management and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in business level English with the ability to represent TA in activities such as presenting to Head/Director level business & P&O leaders
• Proven strategic problem-solving abilities and a growth mindset.
• Experience fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment
• Experience of hiring in a Supply/operational environment is desirable as this role would lead our Supply TAP's & TAC's and partner with our Supply hiring community and HR Teams.
