Talent Acquisition Manager
About the Role
This is a foundational hire for a fast-growing AI SaaS startup, with the opportunity to build the recruiting function from the ground up. You'll work closely with the Recruiting Lead and C-level leadership, owning everything from sourcing strategy to offer closure as the company scales from ~50 to 100 employees.
What You'll Do
Partner with hiring managers to define clear role requirements and success profiles.
Drive active sourcing and channel activation to maintain a strong pipeline of high-potential candidates.
Conduct pre-screening and screening calls that deliver actionable hiring decisions.
Coordinate all stages of the hiring process to ensure smooth, timely progress.
Negotiate and close employment contracts with candidates.
Design and implement scalable, lean recruiting processes and administrative structures.
Develop and execute employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.
Coordinate external partners such as payroll providers, notaries, and tax advisors.
Support onboarding and offboarding activities as part of the full recruiting lifecycle.
Establish HR foundations — processes, tools, and team events — in close collaboration with leadership.
What We're Looking For
5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with a proven track record delivering end-to-end recruiting across diverse roles and formats.
Demonstrated ability to build lean, scalable recruiting processes from scratch and measure effectiveness with hard metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, conversion rates, pipeline efficiency).
Experience negotiating employment contracts and closing offers successfully.
Hands-on experience configuring and optimising recruiting platforms and ATS tools for daily use.
Strong data-driven mindset with the ability to define, track, and report on recruitment KPIs.
Proven ability to quickly assess candidates for both skill and cultural fit across large applicant pools.
Skilled at pitching roles and the company compellingly to secure top candidates.
Experience coordinating external HR-adjacent partners (payroll, legal, tax) within recruiting workflows.
Familiarity with AI tools and modern workflows applied to recruitment is a plus.
Fluency in German is required for this role.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary of €65,000 – €80,000. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

On-site in Vienna, Austria.
