We are
looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager who will lead end-to-end recruitment
for Rishihood University, hiring outstanding faculty and staff who can drive
the university's mission forward. This role will report to the Head - Human
Resources.
Responsibilities
· Recruitment Strategy:
Partner with department heads and schools leadership to forecast hiring needs
and build annual recruitment plans across academic and administrative roles
· Sourcing &
Pipeline Building: Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, academic
networks, and referrals; maintain a strong, ready talent pool for critical and
recurring roles
· End-to-End
Recruitment: Own the full hiring cycle - job description drafting, screening,
interview coordination, panel management, and offer negotiation
· Faculty and staff Search
Support: Work closely with academic search committees to identify, screen, and
evaluate qualified faculty and non faculty candidates
· Stakeholder
Management: Act as the key point of contact between candidates and hiring
managers; advise leadership on market compensation trends.
· Employer Branding:
Represent Rishihood at job fairs, campus drives, and academic conferences to
strengthen the university's employer brand
· Recruitment
Operations: Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) records, track hiring
metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire), and ensure compliance with UGC/AICTE
norms where applicable
· Onboarding Hand off:
Ensure a smooth transition of selected candidates from offer acceptance to
onboarding.
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business
Administration, or a related field.
· 5–8 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment,
ideally spanning both academic/faculty and administrative hiring.
· Proven track record of managing end-to-end recruitment cycles,
from sourcing through offer negotiation, for both niche and high-volume roles.
· Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to
influence and partner with senior leadership and academic search committees.
· Hands-on familiarity with ATS platforms, sourcing tools (LinkedIn
Recruiter, job portals), and recruitment analytics/reporting.
· Prior experience recruiting in higher education, EdTech, or a
fast-growing startup environment is a strong plus.
