Position Summary
The Recruiter is responsible for leading full-cycle recruitment efforts for professional and staff-level positions across the organization. This role serves as a strategic talent acquisition partner to hiring managers, proactively sourcing and attracting top talent while ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
In addition to recruiting responsibilities, the Recruiter supports the organization's university relations strategy and annual summer internship program, building strong partnerships with colleges and universities to develop future talent pipelines. The role also leads new hire onboarding activities for our Corporate Headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA, facilitating HR orientation and ensuring a positive transition into the organization.
This position is based in Wexford, PA and follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring onsite presence a minimum of three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment Responsibilities
  • Support full-cycle recruitment for staff-level and professional positions across multiple business functions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies, define candidate profiles, and align hiring plans with business needs.
  • Source, identify, and engage passive and active candidates through a variety of channels, including LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, referrals, job boards, and industry associations.
  • Conduct candidate screenings and behavioral interviews to assess qualifications, experience, and organizational fit.
  • Coordinate interview processes and facilitate communication between candidates and hiring teams.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to hiring managers and HRBPs throughout the selection process.
  • Manage interview logistics, including scheduling, travel arrangements, meeting coordination, and candidate communications.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
University Relations & Internship Program Management
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with colleges, universities, career centers, faculty, and student organizations.
  • Represent the organization at career fairs, campus recruiting events, networking opportunities, and internship-focused initiatives.
  • Lead all aspects of the annual summer internship program, including workforce planning, recruitment, selection, onboarding, programming, and program evaluation.
  • Partner with department leaders to identify internship opportunities and define meaningful project-based assignments.
  • Coordinate intern engagement, development activities, networking opportunities, and performance feedback throughout the internship experience.
New Hire Onboarding & Orientation
  • Lead HR new hire orientation sessions and onboarding activities.
  • Ensure new employees receive a welcoming and engaging onboarding experience that supports successful integration into the organization.
  • Coordinate onboarding logistics with hiring new hire, managers, IT, facilities, and other stakeholders.
  • Educate new hires on company policies, benefits, culture, and organizational resources.
Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
  • Experience sourcing and recruiting for professional and staff-level positions.
  • Experience building candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing strategies.
  • Strong interviewing, relationship-building, and consultative communication skills.
  • Experience partnering with hiring managers and business leaders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple requisitions and projects simultaneously.
Preferred
  • Experience leading college recruiting, university relations, or internship programs.
  • Experience facilitating onboarding and new hire orientation programs.
  • Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems and recruitment technologies.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or similar HR certification.

Working Conditions
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time to support recruitment activities, university partnerships, career fairs, and internship program events.
  • Ability to work onsite as required to support hiring manager collaboration, candidate interviews, onboarding activities, and intern program initiatives.
