Talent Acquisition Partner

Job Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Partner will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process including but not limited to sourcing candidates, screening, coordinating and/or conducting interviews, communicating candidate updates, extending offers, and facilitating the onboarding process ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Facilitates in the preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
  • Creates and administers on-site and virtual training related to talent acquisition including interviewing, onboarding, etc.
  • Builds effective relationships with local and regional corporations, non-profits, government organizations, universities, colleges and community partners to identify employment opportunities.
  • Regularly conduct in-person meetings and visits with community partners.
  • Utilize data and analytics to track recruitment metrics and continuously improve recruitment processes and strategies.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization using innovative and proactive methods to ensure a diverse and high-quality candidate pool.
  • Identifies qualified applicants who match specific openings; facilitates match between applicant and hiring employer, which may include scheduling interviews.
  • Assists with job posting and advertising processes.
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with hiring managers and department heads to understand their staffing needs and priorities. Collaborate closely with them to define job requirements, expectations, and candidate profiles.
  • Creates innovative ways to source and recruit talent for niche positions.
  • Helps create SOPs and Department Playbook.
  • Provides additional support throughout the Onboarding process including but not limited to licensing and New Hire Orientation as needed
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Takes the lead on special projects as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
  • At least two years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process is highly preferred.

Preferred Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Previous Talent Acquisition work experience.
  • Previous experience utilizing and managing an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), preferably UKG.
  • Previous hospitality experience.
  • Previous experience developing solid working relationships.
  • Previous quality improvement / process improvement experience.

Certifications, Licenses, and/or Registrations:

  • Gaming license/registration as required by jurisdiction(s).

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, customer service skills, and with good negotiation tactics.
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to work with high volumes of confidential information in a professional manner.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of initiative and self-motivation.
  • Ability to work with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
  • Ability to work on-site in an environment with moderate to loud noise, bright lights, smoke, and dust.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week, including holidays.
  • Ability to travel and transport documents, swag and equipment carrying and transporting.
