Talent Acquisition Specialist
The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a key role in executing the organization’s talent acquisition strategy for corporate office and operational roles by sourcing, assessing, and advancing talent through the hiring process. This position partners closely with hiring managers and Human Resources leadership to align recruiting efforts with business needs, elevate the quality of talent entering the organization, and deliver a high-quality candidate experience that reflects the company’s values and standards. The role also serves as a strategic partner in the interview process by helping managers drive consistent, well-informed hiring decisions that support strong long-term outcomes.
Key Responsiblities
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, resume screening, interview coordination, offer, and onboarding support.
- Partner with hiring managers and Human Resources leadership to translate workforce needs into effective recruiting strategies, clearly defined role requirements, and targeted candidate profiles.
- Source and screen candidates using job boards, referrals, recruiting tools, and internal databases to identify qualified talent.
- Partner with outside recruitment firms as necessary to support specialized, hard-to-fill, or high-priority hiring needs and to strengthen overall recruiting outcomes.
- Utilize applicant tracking systems and HRIS platforms to maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready candidate documentation, monitor hiring activity, and support onboarding workflows in alignment with internal standards and recordkeeping requirements.
- Lead interview coordination and support a disciplined selection process by preparing candidates and interviewers, guiding hiring managers on interview structure and best practices, and driving timely, well-informed feedback to improve decision quality and hiring outcomes.
- Guide candidates through the pre-employment and onboarding process, including background checks, drug testing, new hire paperwork, I-9 completion, and E-Verify processing.
- Support Human Resources in ensuring recruiting and hiring practices, candidate documentation, and pre-employment processes comply with applicable state and federal labor laws, company policies, and equal employment opportunity standards.
- Assist with new hire orientation and support managers with employee transfers, promotions, and related personnel processes as needed.
- Maintain organized recruiting files, prepare hiring reports, and track open positions and candidate pipeline activity to support operational visibility, documentation integrity, and compliance readiness.
- Develop and maintain talent pipelines through networking, recruiting events, vendor partnerships, and proactive outreach to passive and active candidates, with a focus on strengthening the organization’s talent bench and attracting individuals who elevate performance and culture.
- Monitor recruiting trends and apply best practices to improve candidate quality, hiring efficiency, and the overall talent acquisition process.
- Serve as a steward of the candidate experience by ensuring every interaction is timely, professional, and reflective of the organization’s brand, values, and commitment to talent excellence.
