This is a dynamic, hands on recruitment delivery role, joining us at a particularly busy time. It will suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple stakeholders and recruiting across a wide variety of roles and levels throughout the organisation.
Joining us on a 6 month fixed-term contract, you'll support the team through a busy period of recruitment, working across engineering, technical and volume hiring. You'll speak to a high volume of candidates, manage multiple vacancies and work closely with hiring managers to keep recruitment moving.
You'll need to be comfortable managing competing priorities, working at pace and influencing and challenging stakeholders when needed. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who enjoys recruitment, thrives on being busy and is ready to make an immediate contribution from day one.
Key responsibilities in this role:
- Deliver end-to-end recruitment across technical, specialist, volume and early careers hiring, from initial briefing through to offer.
- Partner with hiring managers as a trusted Talent Acquisition adviser, providing recruitment expertise, market insight and constructive challenge to support effective hiring decisions.
- Support with the interviewing and selection process through recruitment screening and qualifying candidates.
- Design and deliver recruitment campaigns and assessment processes that are engaging, effective, fair and tailored to different roles, levels and functions.
- Work closely with our RPO partner, supporting the day-to-day relationship, service delivery and alignment with business requirements.
- Champion an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience, ensuring our recruitment processes are engaging, inclusive, consistent and well communicated.
- Support and coach hiring managers through our hiring skills initiatives.
- Ensure recruitment activity is compliant and well governed, including right-to-work, visa and IR35 considerations where relevant.
- Identify opportunities to improve how we recruit, helping us streamline processes, strengthen our talent pipelines and continually improve the experience we provide.
- Regular progress updates and reporting.
Apply if you have most of the following:
- Experience within an inhouse Resourcing/Talent Acquisition function.
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end recruitment, ideally in engineering, manufacturing, defence, technology or another complex or technical environment.
- Strong understanding of recruitment methodologies, candidate sourcing and assessment approaches.
- Experience working with hiring managers and stakeholders, with the confidence to advise, influence and constructively challenge where appropriate.
- Confidence using recruitment data and insight to identify trends, inform decisions and improve recruitment activity.
- An understanding of recruitment compliance, including areas such as right-to-work, visas and IR35.
- A genuine commitment to delivering an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple recruitment campaigns and priorities at the same time.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to build effective relationships with internal teams and external partners.

- Location: We are open to candidates looking for either on-site or remote working, depending on individual circumstances and business requirements.
- Clearance: The successful candidate will be required to complete a BPSS check.
