Taproom support

Position Summary: This position for Taproom support is responsible for running food, clearing and cleaning tables, cleaning and sanitization of dishes as well as cleaning restrooms. You'll ensure to provide excellent customer service, attention to detail, and the desire to create a welcoming environment.

Position Tasks:

• Clear and clean dishes and trash from tables, chairs and counters.
• Clean up spilled food, drink and broken dishes, and remove empty bottles and trash.
• Wipe down booths and chairs, move tables and chairs to appropriate place, and sweep floors as necessary.
• Transport all dirty dishes from tables to dishwashing area for proper cleaning.
• Empty trash cans throughout the taproom on a regular basis.
• Perform shift opening and closing duties including cleaning, sweeping, vacuuming, etc.
• Maintain stock and cleanliness of serving stations with necessary equipment including silverware, napkins, and condiments.
• Assist with washing and sanitizing dishes.
• Work neatly, safely and under the sanitary guidelines of the Health Department Rules and Regulations.
• Maintaining cleanliness in restrooms on an regular basis
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications:

• • • High School Education (some HS education required; HS Diploma or GED, preferred)
    • Previous restaurant or customer service experience is preferred but not required
    • Ability to take direction, develop, and work in a team environment
    • Works calmly and executes job duties effectively under pressure
    • Must maintain a Professional and hygienic appearance
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays
    • Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
    • Ability to work in a team environment
    • Positive attitude and ability to work under pressure
    • Excellent physical condition and stamina
    • Must be able to work nights and weekend shifts

The ideal candidate must take direction well, and multi-task effectively.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 35 lbs. and occasionally lift/move up to 160 lbs.
