Ko wai mātou / About us:
Manaaki Ora Trust is a kaupapa Māori organisation that has grown from the aspirations of Te Arawa to ensure Māori are healthy, live well and are able to access the services and support that they need. Working under the maru (shelter) of Ngāti Naho, we are fortunate be the newly appointed service provider for alcohol and other drug services in Waikeria Prison.

Kō wai koe / About you:
You will be a qualified and registered Health Professional, joining a team with a shared passion to support tāne realise their potential. You will be a mature and experienced practitioner with the right disposition to work in a highly challenging environment.
Ngā pūkenga ka whai koe/ Skills you will have:
- A relevant qualification in psychology, addictions, mental health, social work, nursing or counselling.
- DAPAANZ
- A minimum of 2 years working in the AOD
- Competence to complete AOD assessments with clear formulation and programme recommendation.
- Confidence using mātauranga Māori in programme delivery.
