Tax Accountant

Our client is an established marine fuel supplier in Singapore’s bunkering and shipping sector. They’re looking for a hands-on Accountant to run the full set of accounts and help set up processes for their tax incentive programme.
What You’ll Do
- Run the full set of accounts end to end in the company’s ERP system
- Prepare monthly closing reports and management accounts
- Prepare audit schedules and work with external auditors
- Prepare and file GST returns
- Support tax computation and analysis
- Help set up and roll out processes for MSI-AIS or GTP compliance
- Check that transactions are posted to the correct revenue and cost centres
Core Key Skills
- At least 3 years of full-set accounting experience
- Hands-on MSI-AIS or GTP experience covering setup, implementation and audit
- Good working knowledge of Singapore GST reporting
- Experience preparing monthly closing and audit schedules
- Experience with tax computation
- Familiarity with cost centre and revenue centre accounting
- Works independently and copes well in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Background in shipping, bunkering or commodity trading
