POSITION SUMMARY
Everence is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Accounting Intern to support our Accounting team during tax season. This internship provides hands-on experience with fiduciary tax processes and offers exposure to tax software and financial reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for students preparing for a career in accounting or tax services.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Perform account maintenance using the OneSource tax software.
- Maintain and update account logs using Excel spreadsheets.
- Assist the accounting team with the preparation and review of fiduciary tax returns.
- Print/publish and mail tax documents.
- Contribute to other special projects based on experience, skills, and interest.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Enrolled as a junior or senior in a bachelor’s degree program in Accounting
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to follow detailed written procedures with accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Eagerness to learn and contribute within a collaborative team environment
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None or Yes
SCHEDULE: Full-time, Approximately 32 hours per week, Mon – Fri
(Late January 2027 – mid April 2027)
