Tax Analyst
Tax Specialist
Responsibilities
- Preparation of VAT returns, Intrastat reports, and corporate income tax (CIT) calculations, with support from local tax advisors
- Communication with internal stakeholders to clarify discrepancies, resolve queries, and ensure accurate tax reporting
- Verification and control of accounting transactions to ensure compliance with tax regulations and correct tax settlements
- Cooperation with cross-functional teams (PTP, OTC, RTR) to minimize risks related to incorrect accounting impacting tax reporting
- Analysis and reconciliation of tax accounts
- Support during annual audits and tax-related reviews
- Ongoing monitoring of changes in tax regulations and assessment of their impact on the business
- Contact with tax authorities and participation in tax audits
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in tax departments, including preparation of VAT and CIT returns
- Practical knowledge of tax regulations, including income tax settlements
- University degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Taxation, or a related field preferred
- Very good command of English
- Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
- Knowledge of SAP will be considered an advantage
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and good work organization
- Eagerness to learn and develop within a tax/accounting environment
