This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Tax Analyst (Direct Tax) based in Switzerland.

This role offers the opportunity to support corporate tax compliance across a truly international organization.
You’ll work across multiple jurisdictions spanning EMEA, APAC, and the Americas, gaining broad exposure to global direct tax matters.
The position combines hands-on compliance with tax risk analysis, audits, advisory work, and planning.
You’ll collaborate closely with external tax advisors and internal stakeholders while reporting to the International Tax Manager.
The role provides a front-row view of evolving international tax developments and regulatory requirements.
It is well suited to an analytical tax professional who enjoys working across borders and tackling complex issues.

Accountabilities

  • Support the International Tax Manager in overseeing corporate tax compliance activities for entities across multiple jurisdictions worldwide.
  • Coordinate with external tax advisors to prepare, review, and submit corporate tax returns, reports, supporting documentation, and related payments.
  • Analyze complex direct tax matters, including compliance questions, tax risks, cross-border transactions, and tax planning opportunities.
  • Help maintain sustainable tax compliance across jurisdictions and assess potential risk positions arising from corporate tax obligations.
  • Support tax audits, inspections, and related interactions with tax authorities across international markets.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and international tax developments across EMEA, APAC, North America, and Central and South America.
  • Contribute to the assessment of emerging international tax developments, including OECD Pillars 1 and 2 and Digital Services Taxes.
  • Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and external advisors to ensure timely and accurate tax deliverables.
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Tax, Finance, or a related discipline; a postgraduate or Master’s degree in Taxation is preferred.
    • Several years of relevant experience in corporate tax compliance, including corporate income tax and withholding tax matters relating to payroll and local or cross-border services.
    • Proven experience with direct tax advisory and compliance, including local and cross-border taxation and tax treaty considerations.
    • Working knowledge of transfer pricing principles and an interest in broader international tax developments.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, combined with excellent attention to detail and a structured approach to complex topics.
    • Ability to stay current with changes in tax legislation and international developments relevant to corporate tax compliance.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, advisors, and other stakeholders.
    • Fluent written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
    • Experience working in a consultancy or advisory environment is a plus.
    • Previous experience working remotely is beneficial but not essential.
