As a Tax Analyst, you'll play an important role within Judo’s Finance team, supporting a broad range of tax compliance, advisory and governance activities across the Bank.
Working closely with experienced tax and finance professionals, you'll contribute to Judo’s ongoing growth by helping ensure our tax obligations are met, supporting various projects with tax related guidance, and identifying opportunities to improve processes through technology and automation.
This role will suit someone who enjoys combining technical tax expertise with problem solving, continuous improvement and stakeholder collaboration. No two days are the same at Judo, and you'll have the opportunity to work across a broad range of tax matters while continuing to develop your skills and experience.

- Assisting with the preparation of Judo Bank’s annual and monthly tax compliance obligations, including Income Tax, Fringe Benefits Tax, Business Activity Statements and other ATO reporting requirements
- Preparing tax effect accounting calculations and supporting related disclosures for Judo Bank’s half-year and annual financial reports
- Supporting the evolution of Judo’s business operations through project delivery and research into technical tax matters
- Contributing to the enhancement of Judo’s tax processes, including leveraging technology and automation solutions
- Supporting and refining Judo’s Tax Governance and Risk Management Framework
- Working collaboratively within a small, experienced and cross-skilled team that embraces new challenges and continuous learning
- Building strong working relationships with stakeholders across multiple areas of the business
You’ll likely bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
- Progress towards a CA or CPA qualification
- Around 5 years' tax experience, with exposure to tax compliance, reporting and advisory activities
- Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
- A naturally curious mindset with the ability to identify issues, ask questions and investigate outcomes
- A collaborative approach and proven ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- A willingness to learn, adapt and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- An ownership mindset and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
