About the team

Join our Financial Division and become part of our international Tax Compliance team within the Group Accounting Services (GAS) department.

You will report to the Tax Compliance Manager and support the team in delivering the following tax compliance activities for Euroclear group entities handled within our Finance Shared Service Center:

  • corporate income tax (CIT)
  • value added tax (VAT)
  • other local tax reporting (different jurisdictions)

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation of VAT, CIT and local tax returns by gathering and validating information.
  • Perform basic reconciliations and data quality checks under supervision.
  • Support the preparation of documentation requested for tax audits and tax reviews.
  • Assist the accounting teams during month-end closing with tax-related activities.
  • Maintain tax files, trackers and supporting documentation.
  • Follow up on tax compliance deadlines and outstanding actions.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and gain exposure to tax technology and automation.
  • Prepare standard reports, schedules and analyses as requested.

Required Qualification

  • Bachelor or master's in law, Economics, Accounting or Finance.
  • 1-3 years of experience in tax compliance (VAT and/or CIT) in an international environment.
  • Intermediate level of English.

  • You have a good knowledge of the MS Office (Excel).
  • You have experience in working with an integrated ERP system, preferably Oracle is an asset.
  • You have a strong interest in the future of tax, including technology, automation, AI or tools such as Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • You have good knowledge of Polish accounting principles and have worked with Polish taxes in the past.
