The Opportunity
A forward-thinking and fast-paced professional services firm is seeking a Tax Director to lead their growing tax function. This is a pivotal leadership role, overseeing the development of the department while managing a diverse portfolio of clients across a wide range of sectors.
This position offers the opportunity to head up and grow a dynamic team, deliver innovative solutions for clients, and contribute to the strategic growth of the practice.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and expand the Tax Department within the firm.

Oversee a challenging and varied client portfolio, with scope to further develop and manage your own book of business.

Provide innovative and commercially focused solutions to complex tax issues.

Draft high-quality technical reports and deliver professional documentation with minimal review.

Build strong client relationships, understanding their businesses and supporting them with proactive tax advice.

Play a key role in business development, including cross-selling other service lines.

Manage projects within time and budget constraints, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
About You

CTA qualified, with proven experience at senior manager or director level.

Strong technical expertise and the ability to identify opportunities for clients.

Demonstrated leadership experience, managing and mentoring qualified tax professionals.

Commercially minded, with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

A collaborative approach, strong communication skills, and an appetite for driving practice growth.
