About the Role

PZ Cussons is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to oversee tax compliance, planning, reporting and risk management across its Nigerian operations, with support for Ghana and Kenya.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage timely tax reporting, filings and statutory remittances across multiple entities.
• Oversee tax reconciliations, reviews and compliance monitoring.
• Liaise with tax authorities and external partners to resolve tax matters.
• Support tax planning, forecasting and business decision-making.
• Maintain compliance records and support audits, reviews and investigations.
• Provide tax guidance on obligations and opportunities across Nigeria, Ghana and Kenya.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting with ICAN, ACCA or CITN qualification.
• Experience in a tax-focused finance role, preferably in FMCG, multinational or complex business environments.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, including VAT, WHT, CIT, PAYE and Transfer Pricing.
• Good understanding of accounting, financial reporting and tax accounting.
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
