Tax Manager – Newly Created Role
Our client is a rapidly growing Irish accountancy firm with a long-established reputation for delivering innovative and strategic advisory services. As part of ongoing expansion, they are seeking to appoint a Manager/ Senior Manager to help shape the future direction of their Tax division. This newly created role will focus on developing and delivering high-quality compliance and advisory services across all tax heads.
The Role
The successful candidate will manage a substantial portfolio of corporate and personal tax clients, build and strengthen client relationships, and play a key role in the development of the firm’s advisory offering. Working closely with the leadership team, you will contribute to strategic projects, departmental operations, and broader business development initiatives. You will also support, mentor, and develop junior members of the team.
Key Responsibilities

Manage a broad portfolio of corporate and income tax clients, ensuring exceptional client service.

Lead advisory engagements including due diligence, restructuring, and IP planning projects.

Collaborate with internal teams on cross-functional initiatives and contribute to the operational management of the tax department.

Mentor junior team members and support talent development within the firm.
Requirements

Professional qualification (ITI, CTA, ACCA, ACA) preferred.

Minimum three years’ experience in a tax management role within Irish practice.

Strong technical capability across compliance and advisory.

Experience with FDI and personal tax planning beneficial but not essential.

Proven ability to manage client portfolios and lead teams.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
