Tax Manager / Senior Manager – Private Client Services

Location: Dublin (Hybrid Working)

The Opportunity

A leading professional services firm is seeking a Tax Manager / Senior Manager to join their rapidly growing Private Clients Tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious tax professional to take on a key role in a developing and high-potential area of the business.

Working closely with the partner and senior stakeholders, you will manage a diverse portfolio of private clients, deliver complex advisory projects, and contribute to the continued growth of the practice. The role offers clear scope for progression, significant client exposure, and the flexibility of hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of private clients, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of tax compliance and advisory services.
• Provide practical tax planning advice for individuals, families, and business owners, including multi-jurisdictional matters.
• Play an active role in developing the firm’s private client proposition, supporting growth and innovation in service delivery.
• Collaborate with international colleagues on cross-border assignments.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and client relationship management.
• Mentor junior team members and help build a strong, motivated team.
• Support the operational management of the tax department.

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Chartered Tax Adviser (ITI) and/or Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA).
• Proven experience at Manager or Senior Manager level in tax, with strong private client exposure.
• Commercially astute with excellent relationship management skills.
• Technically strong with a proven ability to deliver clear, practical tax advice.
• Strong communicator, collaborative team player, and effective leader.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Teams.
