The Opportunity

Our client is seeking to appoint an experienced Tax Manager to join their growing tax team in North Dublin. This is a strong opportunity for a technically capable and commercially minded tax professional looking to take ownership of a client portfolio while working closely with Partners on both compliance and advisory matters.

The Role

The Tax Manager will play a key role in delivering high-quality tax services across a varied corporate client base. The position offers a balanced mix of compliance, advisory, team development, and client relationship management within a progressive and fast-paced practice environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and control the delivery of tax compliance engagements for review by Partners

• Oversee a diverse portfolio of corporate tax clients across multiple industry sectors

• Provide practical input on tax planning strategies and advisory projects

• Support workflow planning, staff allocation, and management of deadlines

• Mentor, train, and develop junior team members and apprentices

• Build and maintain long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor

• Work closely with senior management to support the continued growth of the tax function

About You

• CTA qualified (essential)

• Strong technical tax knowledge with the ability to identify planning opportunities

• Previous experience in a Tax Manager or strong Tax Senior role within practice

• Confident communicator with a collaborative and client-focused approach

• Proactive, organised, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
