Tax Manager
Description
A well-established, mid-sized CPA firm in the Chicago suburbs is looking to bring on an experienced Tax Manager with a background in high-net-worth individuals and family office services.
If you've spent the last several years managing complex tax engagements at a national or large public accounting firm and are ready for a more relationship-driven, mid-sized environment, this could be an opportunity worth exploring.
This role offers the opportunity to work with sophisticated clients, including high-net-worth individuals and family offices, while utilizing a broad range of tax knowledge across individuals, trusts, partnerships, and international tax matters.
What They're Looking For
-
7+ years of relevant public accounting tax experience.
-
Strong experience working with high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs).
-
Family office experience is highly preferred.
-
Background preparing and reviewing complex individual, trust, and partnership returns.
-
Exposure to international tax matters.
-
Strong technical tax knowledge across multiple areas of compliance and planning.
-
Experience managing client relationships, reviewing work, and mentoring staff.
-
Someone who enjoys working with sophisticated clients and taking ownership of engagements.
Who Might Be a Good Fit?
Someone currently working at a national or larger regional accounting firm who enjoys the technical side of tax but may be looking for a different environment.
Perhaps you're ready to move away from the demands of a large firm and into a mid-sized practice where you can build stronger client relationships, have meaningful involvement in engagements, and continue growing professionally.
Compensation & Location
-
Salary: $130,000–$150,000+, depending on experience.
-
Location: Oakbrook Terrace / Chicago suburbs, Illinois.
-
