Position Impact
You will tackle high-impact challenges and become a cornerstone of the Finance team. Utilizing your deep accounting and tax expertise, you will spearhead the architecting of global transaction frameworks from the ground up, playing a defining role in optimizing accounting workflows and tax structures for Gogoro’s strategic arrangements.
You will forge strong partnerships with internal teams and external global partners, amplifying our financial network and driving cross-functional alignment. By championing initiatives for next-generation transaction models, you will be a driving force behind Gogoro’s global scaling and international expansion.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead contract reviews and analyze business operations to maximize accounting transparency and tax efficiency.
• Partner with business units and Group Finance to design tailored tax strategies and transfer pricing (TP) methodologies for emerging business models.
• Oversee global tax compliance and champion internal controls to ensure rigorous SOX compliance.
• Strategize TP documentation and alignment to support corporate requirements.
• Orchestrate the global tax calendar to align compliance timelines with broader corporate strategic goals.
• Collaborate with internal accounting teams and external advisors to ensure seamless execution of tax obligations (including CIT, VAT, and WHT).
• Drive ad-hoc strategic projects and initiatives to support corporate expansion.
