Teacher - 5th Grade

Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School is seeking a dedicated and engaging 5th Grade Teacher for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate is a dynamic educator who fosters a positive learning environment and delivers high-quality, hands-on instruction that inspires student curiosity, critical thinking, and academic growth.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide engaging and effective instruction in Mathematics and Science for all 5th grade classes.
• Plan and implement lessons aligned with curriculum standards and best instructional practices.
• Create a classroom environment that supports academic excellence, faith formation, and student development.
• Utilize a variety of teaching strategies, technology, and hands-on learning experiences to meet diverse student needs.
• Assess student progress and communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support the mission and educational goals of the school community.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• Two or more year of experience is preferred
• Valid teaching license required or eligibility for licensure.
• Experience teaching upper elementary students is preferred.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.
• Candidates should be enthusiastic about fostering a love of learning and helping students grow academically, socially, and spiritually in a faith-filled environment.
• Must successfully complete all background screening and onboarding trainings.
