Teacher aide (NFS dept)

Job Description

• Assist teachers with lesson preparation and kitchen activities.
• Replenish ingredients and prepare food items according to class size.
• Assist students in using kitchen appliances and equipment.
• Clean kitchen areas, tables, sinks, appliances and floors.
• Maintain kitchen and food hygiene, including proper food storage.
• Ensure kitchen safety and safe handling of appliances and sharp objects.
• Check and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils and appliances.
• Monitor ingredient expiry dates and replenish stocks.
• Organise kitchen equipment and storerooms.
• Ensure taps, electrical points and gas supplies are switched off after use.
• Assist teachers with stock taking of kitchen assets.
