TEACHER AIDE | SPECIALIST SCHOOL
About the Role
Sommerville School is a specialist school supporting more than 380 neurodiverse learners aged 5–21 years. Our services include our base school in Panmure, satellite classrooms across 15 mainstream schools, and a community programme for young adults aged 18–21 years in Highland Park.
Our 300+ team of educators, therapists, specialists and teacher aides work together in a multi-disciplinary approach to meet the individual needs of every learner, with personalised learning programmes.
About You
We're looking for people who are:
- Empathetic and patient
- Calm, positive, and encouraging
- Good listeners and communicators
- Willing to learn new skills and approaches
- A full New Zealand driver licence and access to a reliable vehicle are strongly preferred.
