As a Teacher Assistant, you’ll support the lead teacher in implementing curriculum, supervising children, and fostering a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment. This full-time position assists with assessments, parent engagement, and school readiness activities to help children thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily classroom activities and child supervision
• Support curriculum implementation aligned with NAEYC and Head Start standards
• Ensure a safe and positive learning environment
• Conduct developmental screenings and maintain child progress records
• Engage with parents to support family and community involvement
• Participate in professional development and team collaboration

Qualifications:

• Preschool Child Development Associate (CDA) or equivalent certification in a related field
• Experience in a preschool setting or working with young children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication
• A collaborative mindset with a commitment to the mission of supporting children, families and communities
