Teacher/Instructor - General

Notre Dame Preparatory School (NDP), a Catholic, independent, college preparatory school for girls in grades 6 - 12 located in Towson, Maryland, seeks full-time teachers for the upcoming school year for both the Middle Level (Grades 6 – 8) and Upper Level (Grades 9 – 12). Faculty positions teach between four and seven sections within their assigned academic area of specialization: English, Math, Science, Social Studies, Theology, Physical Education, Visual Arts and Performing Arts.

Annual dates for the 10-month position are August 16th to June 15th. New hires are expected to attend new employee orientation for approximately 3 days. Annual reporting dates based on school calendar.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach requisite number of sections for academic area in a college-preparatory environment.
• Serve as an advisor and mentor to students, fostering their academic success and personal growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design, evaluate, and enhance curriculum and instructional practices.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and remain current with best practices in teaching and learning.
• Contribute meaningfully to the broader school community through service, student activities, and other responsibilities as assigned.
