The Evelyn Hamblen Center is an alternative site that serves two schools; the Gaines Alternative School, a program that serves students who have committed level 4 infractions of the District code of conduct, and Hamblen a Therapeutic Day School that serves students with behavioral issues, including students with both EBD and ASD exceptionalities.
The applicant for this position will work with both schools to model behavior and engagement strategies in the classrooms, review Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and provide student support .
The applicant for this position should be ESE certified, and preferably LEA trained. PCM and Ukeru training will be provided by the District.
