Teacher

Teacher is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for children. This role includes planning and implementing engaging activities, maintaining supervision at all times, and supporting the physical, emotional, spiritual and social development of each child.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide active supervision of children at all times to ensure safety and well-being
• Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and daily activities
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and development
• Maintain compliance with all licensing regulations and center policies
• Assist with feeding, diapering, toileting, and other basic care routines
• Prepare and serve meals and bottles according to established procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom environment
• Observe and document children’s development and communicate progress with families
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow all health and safety procedures
