Teaching Aide
Teaching & Learning Resources:Prepare, organise, cut, laminate and maintain Science and instructionalresources, including laboratory and MakerSpace materials.
Classroom Support: Set up resourcesand apparatus before lessons, assist teachers during lessons, and supportstudents with equipment and materials.
Science Programmes & Events:Support setup, logistics, dismantling and storage for Science activities,competitions and events.
Department Support: Provideadministrative and logistical assistance to other departments, includingpreparation of teaching materials and event support.
CCA Support: Assist with the dailymaintenance of the food digester for the Eco Makers Club.
Ad-hoc Support: Provide library reliefduring recess and assist the General Office with reception, phone calls andwalk-in visitors.
Requirements: Adaptable, organised andcomfortable handling physical tasks, managing multiple duties, and interactingwith students and staff.
Qualification:
a) Secondary,GCE ‘O’ or ‘A’ Levels certificate or its equivalent
(b) Previousor related work experience in a primary school science room is preferred
ContractPeriod:From 14 Sep 2026 (or date of issuance of Letter of Acceptance, whichever islater) to 31 Dec 2027, with option to extend for one (1) year.
Optionto Extend:The Contractor grants the Authority the option to extend the Contract for afurther period of one (1) year.
Working Hours:
•Mondays to Fridays: 7:30am to 3:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
Thecandidate's standard working hours are 7.30am to 3.30pm, inclusive of aone-hour unpaid lunch break, amounting to 7 paid working hours per day.
