Teaching Assistant

Job Summary

Center for Allied Health Education is seeking a dependable and motivated Remote Teaching Assistant (TA) to support instructors and students in our allied health programs. The TA will assist with virtual classroom activities, provide student support, and help facilitate an engaging and effective online learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist instructors with virtual classes and online learning activities.
• Provide students with academic support and clarification on course material.
• Monitor student participation and engagement during virtual sessions.
• Assist with preparing and organizing online instructional materials.
• Communicate with students and instructors regarding coursework and assignments.
• Help maintain an organized, professional, and supportive virtual learning environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Relevant education or experience in the applicable subject area preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable using virtual meeting platforms and online learning tools.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
• Previous teaching, tutoring, or healthcare education experience is a plus.
