Role Overview
EIC is seeking a Teaching Intern to support the school’s various programmes. The intern will assist a specialist
teacher across a range of teaching-related tasks and will not act as the primary teacher or hold sole responsibility
for a class.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the class teacher in the delivery of lessons.
• Help prepare lesson materials, worksheets and practice resources.
• Assist students with exercises, practice questions and revision under teacher supervision.
• Support marking and recording of student work.
• Help maintain classroom routines and support student engagement during lessons.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to the various programmes as required.
Requirements
• Completed GCE A-Levels (Junior College), a Polytechnic Diploma or equivalent. (e.g. International
Baccalaureate Diploma)
• Strong command of English (and/or Mathematics) at least to A-Level or Diploma standard.
• Genuine interest in a career in education.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well under the guidance of senior teaching staff.
Desirable
• Prior tuition, mentoring or volunteer teaching experience.
• Ability to support both English and Mathematics.

$800-1100
