Role Overview:

As a Teaching Specialist at TheEton Academy, you will play a dual role in curriculum development andhigh-quality lesson delivery. You will design and implement structuredenrichment programmes aligned with MOE standards, while guiding students tobuild strong thinking skills, confidence, and academic performance.

Job Description:

Curriculum Design & Development

  • Design, develop, and refine enrichment programmes aligned with MOE syllabus and learning objectives
  • Create high-quality lesson materials, resources, and assessments
  • Work closely with the Head of Teaching & Curriculum to ensure consistency, rigour, and progression across programmes

Teaching & StudentDevelopment

  • Deliverengaging and effective lessons across assigned levels and subjects
  • Coachand support students to achieve their academic potential
  • Fostercuriosity, confidence, and a positive learning mindset
  • Involvein covering After-School teachers

Assessment & Progress Tracking

  • Assess student work and provide clear, actionable feedback
  • Monitor and track student progress systematically
  • Prepare students for school assessments and key examinations (e.g. WA, EOY, PSLE)

Parent Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with parents through regular communication
  • Provide updates on student progress, strengths, and areas for improvement
  • Partner with parents to support each child’s learning journey

Team Collaboration & Contribution

  • Collaborate with the academic team to improve curriculum and teaching strategies
  • Participate in training and professional development
  • Contribute actively to team discussions and programme improvements

Operations & Professional Responsibilities

  • Work schedule: Wednesday to Sunday
  • Carry out duties and responsibilities assigned by the management team
  • Maintain professionalismin all interactions with students, parents, and colleagues


Requirements:

  • At least possess Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
  • At least 1 year of relevant teaching or curriculum writing experience (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
  • Working knowledge of the Singapore MOE syllabus
  • Passion for education and student development
  • Strong ability to explain concepts clearly and effectively
  • Creative, meticulous, and detail-oriented in curriculum design
  • Strong classroom management and engagement skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-driven with good time management and ability to work independently
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a dynamic environment
