As a Teaching Trainee, you will receive hands-on experience in curriculum delivery, lesson preparation, classroom management, and student engagement. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons
  • Support students in understanding key concepts and answering questions
  • Prepare teaching materials, worksheets, and learning resources
  • Mark assignments and provide constructive feedback where appropriate
  • Observe lessons and learn effective classroom management techniques
  • Assist with curriculum development and academic projects
  • Support centre events and other educational initiatives when required

Requirements

  • Current Polytechnic or University student, or recent graduate
  • Pursuing or have completed studies in Science, Chemistry, Mathematics, Education, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Strong academic foundation in your preferred teaching subject
  • Passionate about working with children and teenagers
  • Confident communicator with good interpersonal skills
  • Responsible, proactive, and willing to learn
  • Prior tutoring or teaching experience is an advantage but not required
