Machining Finish Team Lead

Purpose

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Team Lead to join our high-performing Machining Finish Department. This role is ideal for individuals who excel at organizing workflow, coordinating daily tasks, and keeping production moving efficiently toward daily build goals. You’ll support the team by helping prioritize work, track progress, and ensure cabinets are built accurately and on time.

This is not a supervisory role. You won’t handle personnel decisions or performance management. Your focus is coordinating work, supporting the team, and helping keep production running smoothly while maintaining the quality and efficiency standards our Machining Finish Department is known for.

You’re a motivated Team Lead with a strong understanding of production processes and a talent for organizing work effectively. You take pride in keeping production on track, supporting daily goals, and helping the team stay aligned so the department meets its targets. What You’ll Do

  • Support the team in staying aligned with daily priorities and production goals.

  • Use the job management app to prioritize daily work and track production progress.

  • Coordinate workflow within the Machining Finish Department to keep production moving efficiently.

  • Support quality expectations by helping ensure work is completed correctly the first time.

  • Assist with training new hires and answer employee questions regarding quality or processes.

  • Work closely with the department supervisor to support daily operations and address issues as they arise.

  • Maintain your equipment and work area to ensure safety and efficiency.

  • Track daily and weekly production progress and help identify potential delays.

  • Share ideas for improving processes and outcomes—we value team members who think critically and take ownership.
