We are looking for a Development Manager to lead the Kondor Back Office engineering team, a critical component of the Kondor Treasury solution.
Based in Bangalore, you will manage and grow a team of engineers (around 10), driving delivery, engineering quality, and team performance on a platform that supports business-critical financial operations.
This role combines ownership of a production system—with strong expectations on stability, support, and continuous enhancement—with active participation in a broader modernization journey powered by AI, transforming both our technology stack and platform capabilities.
You will play a key role in aligning engineering execution with business priorities, while contributing to the evolution of the platform toward modern architectures, cloud deployment (Kubernetes), and a SaaS-oriented model.

Responsibilities & Deliverables:
Your deliverables as a Development Manager will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Build high-performing teams by coaching, mentoring, and supporting career development
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Support hiring and onboarding to strengthen the team
Own delivery outcomes, team performance, and quality of execution
Drive improvements in delivery processes, efficiency, and predictability
Maintain a strong understanding of the platform architecture (C++ / Java)
Guide teams on technical decisions, best practices, and system evolution
Help resolve complex technical and operational issues
Promote adoption of AI-assisted development practices
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Required Experience & Skills:
7+ years of experience in software development
2+ years in a team management or technical leadership role
Strong background in backend development (Java and/or C++)
Experience delivering and operating complex, business-critical systems
Good understanding of system design and software architecture
Proven ability to drive execution and deliver results through teams
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Experience with Agile methodologies
Excellent communication and leadership skills
