Team Lead Network Infrastructure

You will lead Adyen’s networking team in Amsterdam by building, mentoring, and coaching an engineering team that delivers foundational infrastructure services. You will streamline engineering operations, design and optimize global networking infrastructure, automate and scale the network, guide technical direction, maintain operational data, and manage the appliance lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Work with project managers, vendors, and other teams to deploy networking infrastructure
• Design, implement, and optimize networking infrastructure
• Set individual and team goals with the product manager
• Operate and improve the networking team
• Deploy, scale, and automate a global network
• Drive the team’s technical direction
• Maintain sources of truth, performance metrics, health metrics, and the appliance lifecycle

Requirements

• Experience managing and optimizing global network infrastructure environments
• Experience managing IT teams and products
• Knowledge of networking protocols, EVPN, IS-IS, MPLS, Segment Routing, and firewalling
• Knowledge of the Linux networking stack
• Experience coaching, leading, and mentoring engineering talent
• Ability to lead technical projects in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working with global teams
• Hands-on experience with Ansible, Puppet, infrastructure automation, and configuration management
